Stalker Update:
Chris has been busy finishing up his first ever solo album. It will be released early next year on Barsuk. He has also been keeping himself busy, producing records for Tegan and Sara, Mates of State, So Many Dynamos, and a re-mix of a Youth Group song. The Tegan and Sara album titled, The Con, will be in stores on July 24th.
After a much needed vacation in Australia and Japan, Nick has been overseeing the re-launch of the Death Cab website. He also did some production work on the Decemberists’ "The Perfect Crime # 2" video (which
was directed by his Otaku-House partner, Aaron Stewart-Ahn) and camera work on the soon-to-be released "Burn To Shine 04: Seattle, WA" DVD (which features performances by Ben, Eddie Vedder, Dave Bazan, and many more). He has also started blogging! You can read what's on his mind at:
Jason just finished building his own recording studio in Seattle. He has drummed on records for Tegan and Sara and Matt Nathanson, and recently began producing some new songs for Smoosh.
Ben is glad to be home after embarking on his first nation-wide solo tour. It was sold-out everywhere and quite awesome. He has been busy writing songs for the next Death Cab album. Late last year, Ben made his acting debut in the indie film, Brief Interviews With Hideous Men.
The movie is based on David Foster Wallace's novel and directed by John Krasinski. Release date is not quite set.
Death Cab for Cutie: DCfC will officially begin recording their follow-up to Plans this fall! If all goes as planned, the album will be out in late spring/early summer of 2008.

You asked, we answered. If you knew that the world was going to explode, what would be your last meal on earth?
-Alyssa
Nick responds:
"My last meal on earth would consist of many things. It would most likely be some sort of Roman feast wherein I gorged myself on all my favorites, then threw up, and ate some more. Actually, I take that back. If i knew the world was going to explode, I'd would just go get a chocolate Frosty from Wendy's and sit down and slowly eat it while I watched the chaos unfold. Maybe some fries too."
Submit your questions for Death Cab band members here. Every Friday, someone from the band will answer a new question from the list.
So check back with www.dcfcunion.com every week, cuz there's always cool new stuff!
