Meet The Team
Scott Bachrach is the founder & CEO of Tastemakers LLC.
In 2006, Scott founded Think Tank Toys, a New York based company manufacturing licensed toys. In 2008, Think Tank Toys was sold to WowWee Robotics; and renamed ThinkWow Toys, a division that created licensed novelty toys for Disney, Hannah Montanna, High School Musical, Toy Story, 1 Direction, Chuck E Cheese, Jamba Juice, ICEE, and Mrs. Fields.
Prior to ThinkWOW Toys, Scott founded Fun-4-All Corporation, a licensed novelty & toy company (1995). Fun-4-All grew from one product to 300, generating nearly $40 million in annual revenue with top licenses: South Park, The Simpsons, KISS, Teletubbies, The Wiggles, Crayola, and more!
EVP Strategic Initiatives
As an industry veteran, John Guest joined Tastemakers in November 2015. Currently holding the title of SVP of Strategic Initiatives, John’s role involves retail placement, business development, strategic partnerships in addition to various other roles.
Prior to joining Tastemakers, John was VP of Merchandise for Trans World Entertainment Corporation, a leading national specialty retailer of entertainment product. Additionally, John held the title of SVP for Can You Imagine, the country's leading manufacturer of novelty lighting and unique items. John also served as SVP and GMM of Spencer Gifts, where he was responsible for merchandising, marketing, space management, distribution, web, product development, and international sourcing offices.
SVP Licensing & Business Development
John is responsible for creating the product roadmap, cultivating video game publisher partnerships, and expanding the product line of the Arcade 1Up business.
Prior to Tastemakers, John spent 11 years at Capcom. He led award-winning marketing campaigns as the Brand Manager for the Street Fighter, Resident Evil and Mega Man franchises. As the Sr. Director of Licensing & Esports, John grew the licensing business to record-breaking revenue while also being responsible for the full business operations of Capcom’s Esports initiatives & Street Fighter’s global multi-media licensing program.
